Look Away is a new psychological thriller written & directed by Assaf Bernstein, who recently received acclaim for directing the Netflix series, FaudaLook Away stars India Eisley in a dual role as Maria and Airam. Maria is a high school student that is lonely, shy, antisocial and is constantly put down by her overbearing father, Dan (Jason Isaacs) and best friend, the popular and effervescent Lily (Penelope Mitchell). Mira Sorvino also stars as Maria’s mother Amy. While gazing into her mirror one evening, Maria’s reflection talks back to her. Soon the reflection, Airam, takes over Maria releasing all of her suppressed feelings. Unfortunately for Maria’s family and friends, she has a lot of hidden anger towards them.

Recently, Red Carpet Report’s Entertainment Writer, Jennifer Ortega sat down with Jason Isaacs, India Eisley, and Assaf Bernstein. She spoke with Bernstein about how the idea for the film originated 30 years ago.
