Known as one of the top Celebrity Event & Wedding Planners in New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, Samantha Goldberg – a petite powerhouse — will make history when she becomes the first woman to be the Ring Announcer for a celebrity boxing match – and not just any boxing match!
On Saturday, November 10, 2018, The Showboat Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City will host “The Celebrity Boxing Showdown” and former Teen Mom OG star Farrah Abraham will step into the ring with Flavor of Love star Nicole “Hoopz” Alexander to raise awareness about bullying. Social media has made this boxing match the largest and most highly anticipated event in the world!
“Bullying is an epidemic which takes innocent life. We must unite to find a cure,” says Goldberg. “Bullying affects everyone, in every walk of life, and that is why I fiercely support this event. Both contenders have integrity and will demonstrate that differences can be settled in a safe, supervised environment. I challenge all bullies to watch this match – they may learn something,” laughs Goldberg. “Physical bruising will heal; mental and emotional bruising brought on by bullying, may never heal,” adds Goldberg.
Aside from the entertainment value, The “Celebrity Boxing Showdown” is a prime example of how celebrities can use their platform to make a positive social impact. Actors and athletes share a common bond known as discipline. And, it is this discipline that teaches young people the value of body, mind and soul – to focus on striving to be the best they can be. “Let’s all be champs, not chumps.
