The 25th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards celebrated its silver anniversary in grand style on Sunday. From the silver carpet to memorable moments behind the scenes, the guild showcased the best in television and film.

Here are just a few of the fun moments you didn’t see on-camera.

  1. Weather: If it isn’t cold, it’s boiling hot on SAG Awards day. This year the unseasonably warm weather sent the celebrities rushing to the Fiji Water girls. If you were looking for the Golden Globes Fiji Water girl, she was nowhere to be seen and their representative didn’t really want to talk about her.
  1. Selfies: The best place for selfies was the fan bleachers. Crazy Rich Asians cast members Gemma Chan and Henry Golding along with The Handmaid’s Tale star Joseph Fiennes made sure to jump over the rope to greet the fans.
  1. Heavy awards: Kevin Pollak came around to share how heavy the SAG is in the press room after his Ensemble in a Comedy Series win for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. He told everyone it was “unnecessarily heavy.”
  1. Casual: Elisabeth Moss was very casually hanging outside of the press room as the show began talking with her team. Her Monique Lhuillier dress was a standout on the silver carpet, but she didn’t seem too nervous worrying about her nomination for Female Actor in a Drama Series.
  1. Pressroom favorites: When the Black Panther won Cast in a Motion Picture, the media went nuts. Yes, they are supposed to be impartial, but it’s hard not to root for a film that represents so much — a blockbuster film, a critical hit and one that proves diverse stories need to be told.
  1. This Is Us: Most of the adults let the kids speak about who they wanted to thank in the press room. They were all incredibly grateful and Eris Baker even talked about having doubts at making it in the entertainment industry. She is 13 years old. Her speech received a big round of applause from the media.
  1. Glenn Close: She came into the press room to thunderous cheers. She promptly told the awaiting media that her SAG Award statue had a ‘great little butt.” She had the whole room captivated by her magic.
  1. Short show: The Oscars struggle every year to keep the show under four hours. There has to be a way to make it work. SAG Awards did 13 awards — versus 24 awards on Oscars night — in a swift, yet fun two hours.
  1. Black Panther wins: Welcome to the most confusing Oscars season in decades. Green Book has been winning over the last few weeks, but the Cast in a Motion Picture win often signals who will win Best Picture at the Academy Awards. Did the SAG Awards just upset the apple cart?
  1. Rami Malek: He kept the press waiting, but no one seemed to mind. He was incredibly charming and gracious. He said to the press, “Everyone put down your computers and your pens and let’s go celebrate!”
