At EA Play in Los Angeles, Respawn Entertainment and EA showed off the first hands-on gameplay from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.

This action adventure game puts you in the midst of Order 66 as you play the role of Cal Kestis who survived the slaughter of the Jedi at the end of Episode III. The 15 minutes of gameplay at EA Play showed off a newly created enemy trooper and this Christmas’ hottest new toy the companion droid BD-1.

The game was officially said to be part of the Star Wars canon and even features an appearance by Saw Gerrera from Rogue One, played by Forest Whitaker. Fallen Order will have more than its share of cameos as the demo also gave fans glimpses of an R2 and KX security droid from Rogue One.

Much of the mission seen in the video below shows off combat, force powers, and the Respawn calling card wall running. As Cal is tasked with rescuing imprisoned wookies, fans get a glimpse of how the alien worlds of the Star Wars Universe come into play.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order comes to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 15, 2019.

EA Play takes place June 9-10, 2019 at the Hollywood Palladium
