2nd Annual Midseason Awards Winners List
Recently, the Los Angeles Online Film Critics Society voted for their 2nd Annual Midseason Awards which cover twelve film categories that were released from January 1 to June 30, 2019.

Leading the winner’s list was Olivia Wilde’s Booksmart taking home a total of five awards including Best Picture, Best Original Screenplay, and Best Female Director for Olivia Wilde. Following in a close second were Jordan Peele’s Us and Dexter Fletcher’s Rocketman which tied for second place with two wins each.

About LAOFCS
The goal of the Los Angeles Online Film Critics Society is to be a critics group that appropriately reflects a varied history and perspective of people from various races and genders.
Founded in late 2016, the creation of the LAOFCS was to promote inclusion in film criticism while being an organization that promotes and celebrates film year-round. The LAOFCS is made up of 49 members who live or reside in the LA area. Each January, our application period opens and remains open until the end of March.
