Today, USA Network and Blumhouse release a brief teaser for season 2 of The Purge. Last year, audiences followed the lives of different characters, some with connection to bits of the films, while others were new stories in the vast world.
Previously announced cast includes Derek Luke (“13 Reasons Why”), Max Martini (“Pacific Rim”), Paola Nuñez (“The Son”) and Joel Allen (“Never Goin’ Back”).
This time around, according to the network, the show will tell a story of how these characters affect each others lives in the lead up to Purge Night. That depiction is said to be over the course of a year. It’ll be the first time this series has taken up that large a time chunk previously only focusing on the actual mayhem.
