Mingle Media TV and our Red Carpet Report team were at the 13th annual Art of Television Costume Design Exhibition Hosted by Television Academy and FIDM last night to speak with Emmy Nominees about their creations and to FIDM’s spokesperson, and fashion designer, Nick Versos. Also in attendance were Television Academy Chairman and CEO Frank Scherma, FIDM Museum Director Barbara Bundy, and Television Academy Costume Design and Supervision Governors Terry Ann Gordon and Laura Guzik.

The exhibition honors the work of this year’s Emmy®-nominated Costume Designers, Costume Supervisors and Assistant Costume Designers. This year’s “Art of Television Costume Design” features more than 100 costumes from 23 popular TV shows including designs from 10 Emmy-nominated programs. Costumes from Fosse/Verdon, Pose, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, A Series of Unfortunate Events, Game of Thrones, Good Omens, black-ish, Russian Doll, Sharp Objects, The Masked Singer, Future Man, Gotham, The Haunting of Hill House, The Man in the High Castle, Native Son, Outlander, Shrill, The Umbrella Academy, Vanity Fair and Veep will be on display.

The FREE exhibit will be open to the public August 20 – October 26, 2019. Hours are 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday. Closed Sunday/Monday. For more info visit www.FIDMmuseum.org
