preview for the 2019 Emmys Governors Ball After Party #Emmys

Mingle Media TV and Red Carpet Report host, Kristyn Burtt, were at the Television Academy’s 71st Emmy Awards Governors Ball and Creative Arts Governors Bill preview of the official after-party and announcement of a Philanthropic Initiative at L.A. LIVE in downtown Los Angeles.

We are sharing the preview for this year’s big even and the theme of the evening is “Brilliance in Motion” inspired by the beauty of dancing waters and sparkling fountains around the world created for Emmy® winners, nominees and industry luminaries at the official Emmy after-parties: The Governors Ball (September 22, immediately following the awards telecast) and back-to-back Creative Arts Governors Ball celebrations (September 14 and 15).

About the Activations

Here is more about the different elements of the gala celebrations: Sequoia Productions will activate the monumental art installation of illuminated filaments creating a shimmering cascade of color over the ball; Patina Catering will provide up-close culinary demos with tastes from the lavish menu of fine-dining, small plates; Lindt Chocolate will serve samples of the Lindt Chocolate Pot de Crème, a highlight of the Governors Ball dessert collection; Sterling Vineyards will pour its 2015 Platinum Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as the flagship Iridium Cabernet Sauvignon, which Emmy winners will receive as a personalized bottle in the Emmy Winner’s Circle; award-winning bartender Charles Joly will share how to make the Ketel One Vodka official Emmy cocktails; Ferrari Trento will host a tasting of the sparkling wines guests will sip while toasting Emmy winners; Don Francisco’s Coffee will brew a variety of its brilliantly balanced and exquisitely aromatic coffees; L’Oréal® Paris will provide touch-ups at their make-up station; and singer James Graham, “X-Factor” finalist and winner of the second season of “The Four,” Fox’s Televised Music Competition, and dance groups Radiance and Embodiment choreographed by Rudy Abreu will give special performances. Contributing Television Academy corporate partners with activations at the preview also include Audi® and FIJI® Water.

Giving Back
This year, through an innovative partnership between the Television Academy, Living Spaces, Habitat for Humanity and the Hollywood Community Housing Corporation, the Governors Ball will have a lasting, positive impact in the community.
