Ad Astra, a mystery thriller movie, has every mystery lover on edge and also makes it one of the most awaited movies with an exceptional rating of 83% on rotten tomatoes. After the release being postponed twice, scheduled once for January and once for May, the wait is hopefully over as Ad Astra is expected to be released in your nearest cinemas this coming Friday on 20th September 2019.
The cast of Ad Astra already has everyone hooked and impatient for its release. The cast includes Brad Pitt (Fight Club, Se7en) as Roy McBride, Tommy Lee Jones (Men in Black, In the Valley of Elah) as McBride`s lost father, Clifford McBride, Liv Tyler (Lord of the Rings) as McBride’s partner, John Ortiz (Fast and Furious, Fast and Furious 6) as General Rivas, Jamie Kennedy (Scream, Son of the Mask) as Peter Bello, Loren Dean (Apollo 13, Starstruck) as Donald Stanford. Ruth Negga (Warcraft, breakfast on Pluto) and Donald Sutherland ( The Hunger Games, Pride, and Prejudice) are also part of the cast, but their actual role has not been revealed contributing to the hype created for this movie.
What has the people so anxious about this movie is its unique storyline and its extremely good choice of actors. The trailers and teasers give a glimpse of the thrill Ad Astra promise making the viewer wanting for more. Starring Brad Pitt as the leading actor, McBride, he sets off on an unimaginable and dangerous expedition in search of his long lost father in the vast wilderness of outer space but McBride comes face to face with an uncalled mystery that he tends to solve, unraveling secrets that might risk the safety and survival of his home planet.
The director of Two Lovers, The Immigrant and The Lost City of Z, James Gray, has directed Ad Astra and is also the co-writer of this movie along with Ethan Gross. Ad Astra is expected to be a great hit and a kind that is definitely to be watched in the cinema.
