Synopsis
The writers Gregory Weidman (Black Widow, The Barrier) and Geoffrey Tock (Sovereign, Limitless) and director Jim Mickle (Stake Land, Cold in July) have definitely done a commendable job. Based in the 20th century, the movie starts off by portraying the police officer, Thomas Lockhart who is hell-bent on becoming a detective and starts looking into a skeptical serial killer who oddly resurfaces every nine years and the only thing her victims have in common is a weird bite mark at the back of their neck. Thomas suddenly realizes that he asked for more than he could handle when the serial killer seems to walk through time, and he has to risk not only his job but his family and his sanity.
