Cast
Rami Malek (Bohemian Rhapsody, The war at Home, The Pacific) plays the role of the protagonist, Elliot Alderson. He is an Oscar winner and also won an Emmy Award, Golden Globe Award, British Academy Award, Screen Actors Guild Award for best actor. Christian Slater (The Legend of Billie Jean, Heathers) plays the role of Mr. robot, Carly Chaikin (The Last Song) as Darlene, Portia Doubleday (Legend of the Mummy, Youth in Revolt) as Angela Moss.
Synopsis
Elliot Alderson, an introvert hacker had always struggled with expressing his emotions coupled with clinical depression and social anxiety. He finds peace in hacking and single-handedly had taken up a task to unveil the illegal activities of the company he is working for which he likes to call Evil Force. Matters get serious when underground, powerful hacking teams contact Elliot with a similar goal in mind. Elliot’s extraordinary skill of hacking is put to use to reveal the company’s dark secrets, but his safe haven might not prove so safe after all.
