No, it’s not quite a movie version of the 2002 “Birds of Prey” TV show, (Although Ashley Scott is reprising her role, as Huntress, in The CW’s Crisis on Infinite Earths event later this year) – Originally titled “Gotham City Sirens” and slated to be helmed by David Ayer (Suicide Squad), Warner Brothers tapped Cathy Yan for her sophomore feature to be the first all-female comic book movie.

With Margot Robbie reprising her Harley Quinn role, sans The Joker, teams up with Rosie Perez as Gotham Detective, Renee Montoya, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as vigilante, Huntress, Ella Hay Basco as the assassin, Cassandra Cain, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as the supersonic, Black Canary, as Ewan McGregor, underworld power player Black Mask, attempts to consolidate all the Rogues living in Gotham to his team.
