Netflix's Atypical Season 3

Autistic or not, every child has the right to embark on a journey through university and hunt for love. Atypical depicts the life of the Gardners as they try to adjust to the not-so-typical struggles of their autistic son, Sam, and the school life of Casey.

Atypical will return with its third season on November 1st, 2019 on Netflix

Keir Gilchrist (It’s Kind of a Funny Story, It Follows, The Good Neighbor) plays the role of the autistic boy, Sam Gardner, Jennifer Jason Leigh (Eyes of a Stranger, Times at Ridgemont High, The Magical World of Disney: The Young Runaways) as Elsa Gardner, Brigette Lundy-Paine (subtle Pride) as Casey Gardner, Michael Rapaport (China Beach, True Romance, Friends) as Doug Gardner, Amy Okuda (Californication, The Guild, How to Getaway with Murder) as Julia Sasaki, Nik Dodani (Murphy Brown, Alex Strangelove) as Zahid, Graham Rogers (Ray Donovan, The Kominsky Method) as Evan Chapin and Jenna Boyd (CSI, Six Feet Under, The Exorcist, The Hunted) as Paige.

Encouraged by his therapist, Julia, Sam was determined to find love, as shown in season 1. Consequently, Sam’s mother, Elsa finds time for herself as she contemplates giving up the caregiver role and embarking on an affair. On the other hand, Casey had been offered an athletic scholarship in a private school. Season 3 is set to portray Sam’s university life when he wins a place on Denton University’s Scientific Illustration and also Casey’s feelings for her best friend, which she tries hard to ignore.
