In celebration of the 92nd Annual Academy Awards, Award Nominee Bruce Dern (in 2020 Best Picture Nominee “Once Upon a Time In Hollywood”) joined fellow Oscar Nominees, former Oscar Winners and Nominees, Golden Globe Winners and Nominees, TV series’ regulars and media at Doris Bergman’s 12th Annual Valentine Romance Oscar® Style Lounge and Party at Fig and Olive in West Hollywood yesterday. 

Additional VIP guests included Golden Globe and Emmy Winner Anthony Anderson (“Black-ish”),  Sean Carrigan (Oscar Nominated Film “Ford vs. Ferrari”), Shari Belafonte  (“The Morning Show”), Adrienne Janic (Host of “Overhaulin’”), Tichina Arnold (“The Neighborhood”), John Brotherton (“Fuller House”), Stacey Dash(“Clueless”), and FOX 11 Los Angeles Anchor Christine Devine, who was there to do a segment on the Wednesday’s Child charity supported by this event.

In addition to a seated luncheon in the main dining room at Fig and Olive, everyone enjoyed a collection of the latest fashion, fragrance, lifestyle, and sweets in the courtyard.

Academy Award Nominee Bruce Dern (Academy Award Nominee for Best Actor in “Nebraska”) graciously spoke to everyone. He is part of the cast in Best Picture Nominated Film, “Once Upon A Time In Hollywood”, which has gotten a lot of Oscar buzz.

True Gold Honey was back, and everyone was tasting their mouth-watering flavors gifted in a 5-pack with Wild Buckwheat, Avocado, Orange Blossom, Coastal Mountain Sage, and Summer Valley Flowers flavors. Their Pozo Wildflower Honey just won a Good Foods Award 2020, along with the 2019 California New Product Awards/ Buyer’s Choice Award (3rd Place) and California Honey Festival (2017). Founder Sarah Sample explained how thorough the Good Foods Awards team was when reviewing their facilities and pure processing for their award.

And in the spirit of giving back, guests and sponsors donated unwrapped gifts for young adults (ages 13-18) for a Post-Holiday Gift Drive benefiting ‘Wednesday’s Child’ — a weekly segment airing on KTTV FOX 11 News, Los Angeles, with Anchor Christine Devine. ‘Wednesday’s Child’ highlights ‘harder to place’ children in the LA County foster care system who are in need of adoptive families. “In Los Angeles County, alone, there are over 40,000 children receiving child welfare services,” says social worker, Dr. William Wong. Bergman always invites beloved foster children to join in on the festivities and experience what it feels like to be treated as a VIP.
