With a growing number of creatives in the Film and Television sector here in New Mexico, Phirgun Mair joins 6 other SAG-AFTRA franchised agencies while representing talent in various artistic endeavors across the globe.
The agency is led by Peter K. Yanke, who brings with him more than 20 plus years of experience in various aspects of the film, television, music, publishing and creative arts industries, in addition to consulting for non-profits and political candidates.

With new commitments from Netflix and NBC Universal, along with a supportive environment of NM film organizations and tax incentives, we expect there to be a very deep pool of talent in need of the services we provide.” He continues, “If you do the right things, the right things happen. Celebrating its 4-year anniversary representing actors, models, writers, musicians, artists and comedians, Phirgun Mair Worldwide celebrates its four-year anniversary as an approved SAG-AFTRA franchise to officially represent talent who are members of the SAG-AFTRA union.
The Phirgun Mair (pronounced Ferr-Gunn Mare) name derives from the Hebrew word “firgun”, an informal Hebrew term and concept meaning genuine, unselfish delight or pride in the accomplishment of the other person and the Scottish word “mair”, meaning more. Together they represent the company motto to “Delight more in the accomplishments of others.”
