Colette follows the emotional journey of a 90-year old former French Resistance fighter who travels to Germany for the first time after World War II, and with the importance of wanting this story to be seen. What’s also important is this short was featured in the Medal Of Honor: Above and Beyond VR game and produced by game studio Respawn Entertainment. Last night during the 93rd Academy Awards, Colette’s win for Best Documentary Short made Respawn the first game studio to win one of cinema’s most coveted awards.

You can still stream the 10 chapter documentary via The Guardian’s website.

Medal of Honor: Above and Beyond is now available for the Oculus Rift and Steam platforms.
