Be A Contributing Writer

We get asked all the time about how to contribute articles to be published by our site and we’d like to invite you to join our growing community.

As you may know, we don’t do gossip, we don’t do link bait and we don’t share spoilers… unless of course we alert the reader.

Guidelines for submission

Original Content – if you want to have your articles posted and shared by us, including linked back to your website, or other social media link, you need to ensure that your submission has not been posted elsewhere, even on your personal blog.

We’re not interested in someone who creates posts for content farms or someone who is trying to get links for other sites.

Word count, mixed media and tone – we gladly accept articles that are 200 to 800 words long, and even better if you have the YouTube video, social network links etc… for the topic i.e. new TV or movie. No matter what you write, remember to keep it positive and keep the snark to a minimum, remember no gossip.

Acceptable Topics –Movie Reviews, TV show reviews, entertainment related topics, such as behind the scenes, production, technology used, actors, roundups about series etc… Not sure? Email us and ask.

Compensation: We don’t compensate writers who submit their content but we are happy to support you with having your bio on our site, links to your personal sites, Twitter, Facebook etc… and we will give you a byline and list you under our masthead. We’ll even work with you to credential you as a reporter for us to attend industry events. Depending on your focus, we can even add you as the titled expert on pop culture, soaps, rom-coms etc…

Sharing is Caring – not only will we share your post but we ask you to share as well. Tell your friends to share too.

We reserve the right – In most cases we won’t edit your content, but if we need to, we will let you know. But by submitting to our site, you acknowledge this and agree to our terms.

Questions? Please contact us below! We’re looking forward to hearing from you.
