MUPPETS 2 is being produced by Todd Lieberman and David Hoberman, screenplay by James Bobin (also directing) and Nick Stoller (also executive producer). CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER

Good news for all you 3D fans, there will be a 3D version of this film when it releases on April 4th 2014. CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER will pick up where “Marvel’s The Avengers” leaves off, with Steve Rogers continues his affiliation with S.H.I.E.L.D and personally challenged to assimilate to the modern world and his role in it. Roger is reunited with James Barnes AKA ‘Bucky’  who has been brainwashed and is the Russian assassin known as the ‘Winter Soldier.’

We’re excited to see that Chris Evans will still be playing our favorite character, Steve Rogers AKA Captain America, Sebastian Stan will be Bucky and Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson are among others cast in this movie directed by brothers Anthony and Joe Russo.

MALEFICENT

Sad to see we have to wait a few more months to see this in July 2014 but am excited to see how Disney brings to life Maleficent, the most beloved villain from the 1959 classic “Sleeping Beauty.” Didn’t you wonder what happened to make Maleficent’s heart so hard that she put a curse on the baby, Aurora?

Angelina Jolie will be starring as Maleficent, and others cast to-date are Sharlto Copley, Elle Fanning, Sam Riley, Imelda Staunton, Miranda Richardson, Juno Temple and Lesley Manville. MALEFICENT will be released in 3D and is produced by Joe Roth, directed by Robert Stromberg from a screenplay written by Linda Woolverton.

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY

Another update on the much anticipated GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY movie which is based on the Marvel comic books of the same name. The new release data is August 1st 2014 and will be in 3D. This sci-fi movie features an unlikely cast of characters who must team up in order to defeat a cosmic force of epic proportions and will be directed by James Gunn.

Who doesn’t like a mystery? Okay, Disney is keeping the wraps on this movie entitled 1952 which will be produced by Damon Lindelof and directed by Brad Bird, from a script by Lindelof and Bird. It’s gotta be GREAT as they have George Clooney starring in it (and the production team is also brilliant). Coming in 3D 1952 on 12/19/14.

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 5

Captain Jack (Johnny Depp) is back for the upcoming PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 5. Jerry Bruckheimer is producing and Jeff Nathanson is writing the screenplay.
