ALMA Awards

Mark your calendars for the 13th annual Alma Awards! The Alma Awards, which stands for American Latino Media Arts and also translates to “soul” in Spanish, is a celebration of stars of Hispanic heritage and their contributions to American television, movies, and music.

The Alma Awards are a part of the National Council of La Raza (NCLR)’s mission to showcase diversity within the entertainment industry. NCLR is the largest national Latino civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States, and the ALMA Awards come just in time to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage month, which runs annually from September 15th – October 15th.
