Mingle Media TV’s Red Carpet Report and host, Krista Gibson, were invited to come out to cover the 2013 Rising Stars Gala – The Big Bash hosted by the Guild of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles (BBBSLA) honoring outstanding members of the Los Angeles community at The Beverly Hilton Hotel.

Awards were given out to recognize individuals who are inspiring and positive role models for young people. They year Roy P. Disney, Chairman, CEO and Founder, The Apogee Companies, will be honored with the Walt Disney Man of the Year Award; Megan Colligan, President of Domestic Marketing and Distribution, Paramount Pictures, will receive the Sherry Lansing Award; and Cynthia Bengtson-Budzyn, Co-Founder, Big Sisters of Los Angeles, is recipient of the Trailblazer Award. Sherry Lansing and Steve Soboroff serve as Honorary Gala Chairs; BBBSLA Guild Members Sandy Bilson and Sarah Purcell, Co-Chair.
