Just when you thought The Muppets couldn’t top their last film, you’ll be surprised by Disney’s Muppets: Most Wanted. It is an absolute delight for children, and a nostalgic masterpiece for adults. If you grew up with the Muppets, be prepared to feel that childhood wonder again.

Most of us grew up with the Muppets, and they’re all back: Kermit, Gonzo, Fozzy, Miss Piggy, and the rest. We even get a few new Muppets including Walter, who the world feel in love with in The Muppets (2011), and a new, devious Muppet named Constantine, the world’s most dangerous frog.

The story begins where the last movie ended, showing us a brief gimpse of Jason Segel and Amy Adam’s happy ever after, before moving the Muppets to their next challenge. After their amazing comeback show, the question is asked “what next?” Well, how about a Muppets Show World Tour? A brilliant idea, but a couple of crooks have a different idea. Constatine, steals Kermit’s identity, and partners with a mysterious thief called The Lemur. Using the World Tour a cover, the two plan a string of robberies, their main goal being Englands, Crown Jewels.

In addition to the Muppets we all know and love, the movie also has an all-star cast that makes this movie really sparkle.  Ty Burrell (Modern Family) plays a hysterical French Interpol Officer named Jean Pierre Napoleon, reminiscent of the Pink Panther’s Inspector Clouseau. Tina Fey (SNL, 30 Rock) plays a tough, clever Siberian Prison Guard named Nadia, who uses Kermit’s talents to put on a musical review in the Gulag. The Muppets new road manager Dominick Badguy (pronounced bad-gee) is played by Ricky Gervais (UK’s The Office), who pretends to be the Muppets’ friend, but in truth is the mysterious Lemur, Constantine’s partner in crime.

Aside from the main characters, the movie has an impressive list of cameo appearances, including, Lady Gaga, Josh Groban, James McAvoy, Tom Hiddleston, Ray Liotta, Salma Hayek, Zach Galifianakis, Stanly Tucci, Danny Trejo (playing Danny Trejo), Christophe Waltz (dancing a waltz), Celine Dion, Sean Combes, Chloe Moretz, Usher, and many more.

It obvious to see how many stars love the Muppets as much as we do. From the very first Muppet movie, actors have wanted to work with Muppets for over 50 years. And the list of actors in this film shows that our love for the Muppet show has never dwindled.

And what Muppet movie would be complete without a festive and varied soundtrack? With over 20 songs, sung by The Muppets, and their human friends, this musical comedy will keep the whole family entertained from start to finish. In the very first number, “They’ve Ordered a Sequel,” The Muppets break the cinematic fourth wall, and asks the audience directly what they should do for this sequel, totally immersing the viewers in their story.

There are dozens of reasons to go see Muppets: Most Wanted, from the music, to the comedy, to Kermit and Miss Piggy’s 50 year-long romance, there is something for everyone in this film. And who better to explain why you should see it than Miss Piggy herself? “What’s going to compel people to see this movie? Moi. If people don’t go to the theater or their own, I’m going to personally come to their doorstep and drag them there.” So if the promise of great music and laughs isn’t enough, go see Muppets: Most Wanted because no one wanted to be on Miss Piggy’s bad side.
