What’s New for the Fourth Season?

Co-creator Ryan Murphy proudly introduced Michael Chiklis as the newest addition to the “American Horror Story” joining the cast in the new season subtitled “Freak Show.” Chiklis character will be the former husband of Bates’ character and the father of Evan Peters’ character. There will be returning cast from seasons one and two in addition to every one of the current cast members at the panel (including Jessica Lange who was on vacation with her family). WOW.

FX previously announced there would be a fourth season of AHS in November and Murphy gave the audience more details about “Freak Show” saying “It’s not a circus, it’s not a carnival, it’s a freak show set in 1950, and it was a concept that Jessica Lange talked about as she wanted to play this type of character,” he said referring to Lange’s German-expatriate character who plays the boss of the freak show set in Jupiter Florida but was shot in New Orleans.

Ryan Murphy said that “We really consider ourselves a family, and a troop of actors… Once you’re on, you’re on. It’s just about finding the time and the role.”

Fan Love

There’s no doubt that AHS has a growing fan base and loves to interact with the cast on social media. During the audience Q&A Sarah Paulson was clearly the fan favorite and even had fans from Mexico in the theater with homemade t-shirts that said ““On Wednesday We Wear Black”

It seems that this fan could not contain his excitement about Paulson tweeting back to him that he made the T and then got the ultimate fan appreciation gift – her signing it at PaleyFest – bet he never washes that shirt again…
