Stand Up To Cancer

One way to get your attention? Have a “roadblock” event – i.e. the coordinated effort between two countries with a live, one-hour fundraising broadcast on Friday, September 5. That’s how you Stand Up To Cancer, a great cause that raises funds for cancer research to get new therapies to patients quickly.

We excited to report that this monumental event will be broadcast simultaneously on ABC, CBS, FOX, NBC and 27 Broadcast and Cable Networks, with Canadian Co-Broadcast on CBC, City, CTV, Global and other Canadian services at 8PM ET & PT  / 7PM CT on Friday September 5th.

Now that’s a feat! All for something that sucks – Cancer.

The following iconic places will be participating in the event by being illuminated in Stand Up To Cancer Colors ( red, orange, yellow or white) at the same time of the one hour TV special:

Niagara Falls, Rockefeller Center®, The Peace Bridge, CN Tower, Willis Tower, Wrigley Building, The Capital Wheel, Houston City Hall, LAX Pylons, One Liberty Place, Pacific Wheel, Toronto City Hall and Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Memorial Bridge, The Parthenon (Nashville), Terminal Tower (Cleveland), Big Dam Bridge and Two Rivers Park Bridge (Little Rock) and The Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory (Milwaukee).

We’re excited to support this great cause… our executive producer, Stephanie Piche, is a breast cancer survivor – 7 years now! Won’t you support this awesome effort to Stand Up To Cancer too?
