Before we get started with this week’s episode preview, we wanted to share some of what last week’s eliminated contestant, Vanessa Hayden, had to share with us about her journey.

We asked Vanessa about her support system and how she is going to stay on track with her new healthy lifestyle?

Vanessa Hayden answered: “Thank you for that question. Well, aside from my fiancé who’s vegan — he doesn’t eat meat and he’s very healthy and fit and my immediate family, I have my Biggest Loser family. Every week, we have a weekly support group. I have a nutritionist in my corner. I can go to the gym and speak with someone and get the tools that I need if I feel like. I have access to the trainers if I need to talk to them, if I need a workout.

…So there’s a big support system outside of my home and my family in The Biggest Loser. They’re my second family and every Monday, we have a call and we have our doctors on there to train us on this and if you have any questions but I think it’s that you have to get acclimated to being home because eventually they’re going to go away or at least I want them to eventually. I just want to go back to myself and still be able to use these tools but for right now, I’m enjoying it. I think it’s a great opportunity.”

We also wanted to know what Vanessa would say to you about keeping going and stay positive, even though you may stumble in trying to lose weight…

Vanessa Hayden answered: “What I would say to folks is because to be totally honest with you on this journey, every day for me has not been a great day. There are days when I’m like, you know what, I just want some French fries and I’ve done that but that’s not – I’ve made a mistake, I’m getting back up, I may have to call somebody or whatever. I’m not going to do this. It’s a new day, it’s a new hour. You ate French fries at four, all right, let’s go workout, let’s go walk, let’s do something healthy. We’re not going to continue, okay, I’m off my diet or not even a diet for me.

…It’s a lifestyle change and it’s important, I think you do have to treat yourself. For me right now, I’m not in the treating phase. I just wanted fries that day and I ate them but I didn’t get down and before I would try – I’m going to try to go on a diet and when I get off of the way, I can’t do this. It’s too much. I have a healthy lifestyle. I eat tons of food a day and it works for me and I’m eating healthy, clean food but if I do stumble, I get back up. I’m not going to stay down there.”

We wish Vanessa and all of the contestants on The Biggest Loser the best!

This week on The Biggest Loser: Glory Days, the Trainers will pay the price when their team answers the nutrition quiz incorrectly!

The first challenge for this week’s “The Biggest Loser: Glory Days,” on Thursday, September 25 (8-10 PM ET),  is a nutrition quiz testing the contestant’s knowledge of calorie counting and trainers Dolvett Quince, Jessie Pavelka and Jennifer Widerstrom will have to eat junk food if their team answers incorrectly… this should be good.

Also, there is a surprise for the contestants with a part of the gym being transformed into a “Wall of Glory” with photos of each player at their athletic best, and you can bet that will bring back a flood of memories and emotions! But that’s part of the motivation, right? making your glory days your future too…

The second challenge has the red, white and blue teams pedaling through a spinner bike challenge with a reward for the winners being a weigh-in advantage or the coveted letters from home, with it now being three weeks in to the competition, you know they are missing them.

What would you do?
