The “Star Wars Rebels: Spark of Rebellion” 1 hour movie has aired on the Disney Channel and Disney XD and will be available for purchase on Tuesday, October 14th. Did you watch it on WATCHDisneyXD.com or the WATCH Disney XD app?

The series Star Wars Rebels (9:00 p.m. ET/PT) will premiere on Disney XD Monday October 13th!

About Star Wars Rebels

Set between the events of Star Wars: Episodes III and IV, the story unfolds during a dark time when the evil Galactic Empire is tightening its grip of power on the galaxy. Imperial forces have occupied a remote planet and are ruining the lives of its people. The motley but clever crew of the starship Ghost — cowboy Jedi Kanan, ace pilot Hera, street-smart teenager Ezra, the “muscle” Zeb, warrior firebrand Sabine, and cantankerous old astromech droid Chopper — is among a select few who are brave enough to stand against the Empire. Together, they will face threatening new villains, encounter colorful adversaries, embark on thrilling adventures, and become heroes with the power to ignite a rebellion.

New Characters in Rebels

The TV movie, which introduces new characters that will be front-and-center in “Rebels,” was screened at San Diego Comic-Con, in July, and is set between the events of “Star Wars Episodes III and IV,” with its look influenced by the work of original “Star Wars” concept artist Ralph McQuarrie. Dave Filoni (“Star Wars: The Clone Wars”) created “Rebels” with Simon Kinberg (“X-Men: Days of Future Past”) and Carrie Beck. (via starwars.com) 

The voice cast includes Freddie Prinze Jr., Vanessa Marshall, Steve Blum, Tiya Sircar, Taylor Gray, David Oyelowo and Jason Isaacs.

Disney Channel and Disney XD stars were out to celebrate the Star Wars Rebels Premiere at the famed home of Lucasfilm in San Francisco – Rowan Blanchard, Olivia Holt, Piper Curda, Kelli Berglund, Skai Jackson and G. Hannelius were on hand for photos and fun. As well as the cast at the press conference prior to the premiere event.
