How far will you go for equality among the sexes? We all love those shirtless men on TV commercials… but did you know that it is illegal for a woman to go topless in 37 states in the US – even if she is breastfeeding? How about getting arrested in New York City after it became legal to be topless?
This IFC film, Free the Nipple, is based on a true story that explores the rights of women to be topless, in public and stars Lina Esco (LOL), Lola Kirke (Gone Girl), Monique Coleman (High School Musical) and Zach Grenier (“The Good Wife”).
Free the Nipple will be available from Sundance Selects on December 12th in theaters and also on-demand (streaming video).
