Hello world! Meet Caitlyn Jenner!
I’d like to introduce to you Caitlyn Jenner, formerly known as Bruce. She has finally revealed her true self on the cover of Vanity Fair, shot by the Annie Leibovitz, and finally feels free.
Just Announced Honors
Caitlyn Jenner will be honored with the ESPYs’ Arthur Ashe Courage Award! Congrats
Behind the Scenes at the Photo Shoot
She reveals to Vanity Fair in the behind the scenes footage, “I was probably at the Games because I was running away from a lot of things. Very, very proud of the accomplishment, I don’t want to diminish that accomplishment. The last few days of doing this shoot was about my life and who I am as a person. It’s not about the fanfare, it’s not about people cheering in the stadium, it’s not about going down the street and everybody giving me a, ‘That a boy Bruce’ pat on the back. This is about your life. Bruce always had to tell a lie. He was always living that lie, every day he always had a secret from morning ’til night. Caitlyn doesn’t have any secrets. Soon as the Vanity Fair cover comes out, I’m free.”
Pulitzer Prize-winning contributing editor and author of Friday Nights Lights Buzz Bissinger interviewed the former Olympian in this month’s magazine. The photoshoot and interview, taken in her Malibu home, reveals a deeper side to Caitlyn and her transition. She revealed to Bissinger, “If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life.”
After the cover was released, Caitlyn Jenner took to Twitter to announce her newfound self.
I'm so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self. Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can't wait for you to get to know her/me.

No “K” for Caitlyn
In regards to the name Caitlyn spelled with a C instead of a K (traditional in the naming of the kids), TMZ has revealed it was meant to allow Caitlyn to be her own person. Her children are supportive of the big reveal and tweeted their thoughts on it.
Welcome to the world, Caitlyn! We can’t wait to get to know you!
