Mingle Media TV and Red Carpet Report host Carolina Bonetti were invited to cover the FYC screening and panel of Amazon Studios’ dark comedy, Transparent, by Jill Soloway at the Director’s Guild of America Theater in Los Angeles as part of the FYC events for members of the Television Academy prior to this year’s Emmys.
It was also interesting that of all the days to get to know more about Amazon’s series Transparent, that Bruce Jenner introduced the world to Caitlyn Jenner, his transgendered true self. One has to wonder if break-through dramas like this and sharing the truth about hiding instead of living help make this world a better place where there is more acceptance and love? We’d like to think so.
The series and it’s performers have been racking up the accolades! Just this past Sunday, both Jeffrey Tambor and Bradley Whitford were honored at the Critics Choice Television Awards for best performance.
