TNT’s new period drama, Public Morals, had it’s premiere screening at the Tribeca Grand Theatre in New York City with an after party at Walker’s Tavern in Tribeca where some of the scenes from the series were filmed at an event hosted by New York Magazine, Vulture and TNT.
Set in New York in the early 1960’s, Public Morals is set in the gritty streets and follows Terry Muldoon (Edward Burns), an officer of the Public Morals Division, which investigates vice crimes in the city. We’ve included the playlist of clips from the new series to check out below.
The Public Morals cast includes executive producer, writer, director and star Edward Burns (The Brothers McMullen), Michael Rapaport (Justified), Elizabeth Masucci (The Americans), Wass Stevens (House of Cards), Ruben Santiago-Hudson (Castle), Keith Nobbs (In Plain Sight), Patrick Murnery (Person of Interest), Katrina Bowden(30 Rock), Lyndon Smith (Parenthood), Brian Wiles (Person of Interest) and Cormac Cullinane (Honestly Amelia).
Public Morals premieres Tuesday, Aug. 25 at 10:00 PM ET/PT on TNT
About Public Morals
The series centers on New York City’s Public Morals Division, where cops walk the line between morality and criminality as the temptations that come from dealing with all kinds of vice threaten to get the better of them. The show centers on Officer Terry Muldoon (Burns), who is determined to raise his sons to be honest and hardworking as he deals with the city’s dark underbelly.
