America has officially voted for their favorites to continue on season ten of The Voice. The first night of eliminations was shocking and full of crushed dreams as half of each team went home but also a magical night for the remaining top 12 finalists.
Here’s how the night went.
Each team performed respectively with their own teammates and then one by one the top two for each team were selected, leaving each coach to pick the third and final person that gets to move on in the competition representing their team.
Team Blake
The top two artists chosen by the viewers were Mary Sarah and Adam Wakefield. And Blake Shelton chose Paxton Ingram out of the remaining artists to move forward.
Team Pharrell
The top two artists instantly saved by America were Hannah Huston and Pharrell’s comeback artist Daniel Passino. Pharrell then selected Emily Keener as the third artist to continue representing his team.
Team Christina
Alisan Porter and Nick Hagelin were the two artists on Team Christina that were saved by voters and lastly to move forward in the competition handpicked by coach Christina was Bryan Bautista.
Team Adam
The top two artists in Adam’s team voted by the viewers were Shalyah Fearing and Laith Al-Saadi. Adam then chose Owen Danoff as the third artist to continue representing his team.
Sadly – we did not get Team Adam’s group…
The remaining twelve artists will remain in the competition each representing their specific team and battling it out in the Live Playoffs only on NBC.
