A simple accidental mix-up of cell phones ends up changing the lives of two girls competing for a coveted photography internship. Jenny Parker (Sabrina Carpenter) and Lola Perez (Sofia Carson) couldn’t be any more different, in fact the girls are polar opposites.
While Jenny aces in her academic studies, thrives on responsibility and is the definition of a good girl; Lola is on the other end of the spectrum. Lola is more of a “living on the edge” kind-of-girl.
The adventures begin when Lola picks up Jenny ‘s phone after finding it in her own purse and takes up a high-paying babysitting job in order to pay a parking ticket. However, Lola walks into a world of trouble when her lack of babysitting experience causes her to lose one of the kids.
Once Jenny discovers what Lola has done , both girls must come together to find the missing 14-year-old. But what they don’t realize is that there adventure is far from over.
Sabrina Carpenter and Sofia Carson have the ultimate on-screen chemistry, both girls were lovable and entertaining in their roles as Lola and Jenny. Overall Disney’s version of Adventures in Babysitting is a fun, enjoyable film for kids and families.
The film is part of Disney Channel’s 100th Disney Channel Original Movies and is Sabrina’s first DCOM and Sofia’s second DCOM feature.
The Adventures in Babysitting premieres on the Disney Channel June 24th.
