Doctor Strange is a new film following the Marvel Comics character of the same name, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
In Doctor Strange, neurosurgeon Stephen Strange has a career-ending car accident and sets out on a journey of healing, where he meets the Ancient One, who later becomes Strange’s mentor and learns the mystic arts.
The film stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Benedict Wong, Michael Stuhlbarg, Benjamin Bratt, Scott Adkins, Mads Mikkelsen, and Tilda Swinton.
This is the fourteenth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and is directed by Scott Derrickson, who co-wrote the screenplay with C. Robert Cargill from a story by the duo and Jon Spaihts.
