INAUGURAL SAUDI FILM DAYS

Mingle Media TV and our Red Carpet Report host Mishal Samman were at the Saudi Film Days World Premiere and Gala hosted by the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles.

After the Saudi filmmakers and event guests walked the red carpet they saw the world premiere screenings of five Saudi short films:

  • I CAN’T KISS MYSELF (directed by Ali Alsumayin)
  • THE BLISS OF BEING NO ONE (directed by Bader Al Homoud)
  • WASATI (directed by Ali Alkalthami)
  • IS SUMYATI GOING TO HELL? (directed by Meshal Aljaser)
  • AL QATT (direted by Faisal Al-Otaibi)

Which was followed by a post-screening director Q&A session, moderated by Oscar® prognosticator Dave Karger with opening remarks by Tareq Al Ghamdi, Director of the King Abdulaziz Center for World Culture.

Guests were then treated to a beautiful dinner that kept the crowd there until late in the evening.
