In the days leading up to every major Award show, members of the press and celebrities are invited to any number of Gifting Suites, meant to pamper and reward the long road of making a film or TV show, or an Album with some up and coming products.

There are a number of gifting suites in LA that celebrate the Academy Awards, each with their own flair. On the quieter side, is The Secret Room, which this year featured about 15 vendor tables and their “Big Bag” for select members of the press, and for Nominated guests. Secret Room Events helmer, Amy Boatright, keeps a curated feel for her suites, there’s always a little something for everyone.

Beso Del Sol Sangria at the 2018 Secret Room Events honoring the 90th Academy Awards - DSC_0023

This year there were wines from Rock Wall Wine Co in Northern California, with a selection of reds, a crisp chardonnay and light sparkling brut.

The home fragrances of Lilou et Loïc from London, gifting candles or infusers. Lil’O’Blossom brought a collection of bath, hair and diaper care lotions and balms for baby and children.

There were a few skincare lines, novelty black water, some toys and a Smart Coffee maker, that lets you customize your morning brew through an app, or even through your Amazon Alexa.

Beso Del Sol Sangria was there showing off their new bag-in-a-box, which holds 4 bottles worth of the lovely nectar, which comes in Red, White or a very nice Rosé, they were also handing out Sangria flavored lip balm.

There was also the Instant Wine Aerator from Waerator which also works as a push button wine spout.

Next to their table was Kelly Egan and WineVeil.com, a new must-have for entertaining, the Wine Veil, is the next step from the simple stem charm, for keeping guests’s wine glasses straight- the charms are added to a veil, designed to keep your guests libations from unwelcomed flying pests, the Wine Veils come in a variety of colors, and 4 to a pack. What is great about WineVeil.com is they’re donating 15% of their proceeds, from the next month to Guide Dogs for the Blind and SophieLove, a foundation supporting at-risk youths.

The table that had my attention the longest, was Whole Harmony – teas, tonics, elixirs – an artisanal herbal tea blender, based out of Connecticut, they grow most of their own ingredients themselves (as many as they can). They were sampling 4 of their tea blends, Heart & Soul, Tranquility, Goddess, and Immune Builder, each had a unique and complex flavor profile, and expertly mixed, nothing felt overly strong. Their Heart & Soul was a personal favorite. They were also sampling their Elderberry Syrup as is, and with some sparkling water, sadly there was no gin to mix it with, but that syrup could work on any number of dishes or drinks. Next was their Folk Fyre, and Apple Cider Vinegar based tonic with horseradish, turmeric and every other good thing they could fit, fermented like a kombucha and with your first sip it will open your eyes and your sinus.

Finally, they had their Lavender Lemonade, which at their home farmer’s market always draws a line… served in a mason jar with their hummingbird logo, it was light and lovely. Whole Harmony isn’t yet nationwide, they are starting to get on Whole Foods’s shelves, you can find their products yourself at WholeHarmony4u.com (tell them Red Carpet Report sent you ;).

Check out some of the vendors and their awesome products!
