Mingle Media TV and our Red Carpet Report team with host, Laura Sirikul, were on hand for The Actors Fund Los Angeles celebrates Broadway’s Biggest Night at the 22nd Annual Tony Awards® Viewing Gala at Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, CA whist the awards show was broadcast from Radio City Music Hall in Manhattan.

Josh Groban and Sara Bareilles co-hosted the 72nd Tony Awards show and opened with a piano duet where they poked fun at the fact that neither of them have won Tony or Grammy Award.

Big Winners at this year’s 72nd annual Tony Awards
“The Band’s Visit” won best musical and “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” won best play.

Honored
This year’s gala will honor Tony and Emmy Award-nominated writer Winnie Holzman (“Wicked,” “My So-Called Life”) with the Julie Harris Award for Artistic Achievement.
