Impulse

Suddenly finding herself with superpowers, 16-year-old Henrietta Coles is overwhelmed with fear and uncertainty. Not knowing what to do with her teleportation powers, she loses control every time she uses it; saving herself from a molester being her first time.

Based on the novel ‘Jumper” by Steven Gould, YouTube Premium created ‘Impulse’ in 2018. The second season continues Henry’s not so normal, fictional lifestyle and is announced to release on October 16, 2019.

Check out its trailers on YouTube, and if you haven’t started the TV series, now is your time.

The cast comprises of Maddie Hasson (God Bless America, The Finder) as the protagonist, Henrietta Coles, Sarah Desjardins (Into The Grizzly Maze, Van Helsing, Project Mc^2) as Jenna Hope, Enuka Okuma (Reindeer Games, House of the Dead, Rookie Blue) as Deputy Anna Hulce, Craig Arnold (Haven, Blackbird, Wet Bum) as Lucas Boone, Tanner Stine (NCIS, The Thundermans, Run) as Clay Boone, Missi Pyle (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, As Good As It Gets, The Mentalist, Grey’s Anatomy) as Cleo Coles, Matt Gordon (Rent-a-Goalie, Blindness, Traitor) as Thomas Hope, David James Elliot (Trumbo, JAG, Exploding Sun) as Bill Boone and Callum Keith Rennie (Last Night, The Man in the High Castle, Battlestar Galactica) As Nikolai.

Henrietta gradually realizes that she might not be the only one with powers. Leaving her helpless and unsure in season 1, the next season portrays Henry looking for guidance and more answers when Nikolai approaches her due to her gift. Although this new person may be her ally, not all stalkers share the same sentiment. This season is more about villains and if Henry will switch to the other side.
