Brec Bassinger in Stargirl

The DC Comics superhero, Stargirl is reported to have her own TV series soon in late December 2019 or early January 2020. Created by Geoff Johns and Lee Moder, the DC Universe saved its best for the last. The trailers are already out.

About the cast
The star of the show is none other than Stargirl played by Brec Bassinger (Bella and the Bulldogs, The Haunted Hathaways, All Night, Status Update) as Courtney Whitmore. The supporting cast includes Meg DeLacy (The Fosters, F*&% the Prom, Chicago P.D.) as Cindy Burman, Trae Romano (The Three Stooges, 555, Robbie) as Mike Dugan, Amy Smart (Varsity Blues, Outside Providence, The Last Time I Committed Suicide) as Barbara Whitmore, Neil Hopkins (Lost, Crash, My Name is Earl, The Ghost Whisperer) as Lawrence Crock, Hina Khan (Creepshow, I Think You Should Leave With Tim Robinson) as Anaya Bowin, Christopher James Baker (True Detective, Ozark, Shades of Blue), Neil Jackson (Push, Quantum of Solace, Absentia), Yvette Monreal (Matador, Faking It, The Fosters), Hunter Sansone (Safety) and Jake Austin Walker (Rectify, I Love You Philip Morris, Impact, Bones, Till Death).

About the series
The storyline follows the journey of Courtney Whitmore in her high school sophomore year. Her lively personality inspires an unlikely group of young heroes to fight the villains of the past. The TV show brings life to the famous Stargirl comic.
