Co-working spaces are changing the game when it comes to being a creative professional. Here in Los Angeles, there’s at least one WeWork in every neighborhood, where they, like a gym, cover all your productivity-related needs, for a monthly fee. With conference rooms, wifi, printing, coffee, and food they have nearly everything a busy person with a laptop could need. Except when it comes to grooming.
The Kibbutz approach to offices generally don’t have some of the things that help face-to-face needs. Until now, piloted at the Silicon Beach, Playa Vista WeWork, The Bôrd Room offers high-quality barber and hairstyling services to the public, whether you’re a WeWork member or not.
Now Open is The Bôrd Room’s second location, West Hollywood, and the Mayor of West Hollywood, John D’Amico was one of their first customers. Located in the upper section of the Red Building on the Pacific Design Center’s campus.
A major step up from the franchised barbershops dotting the Greater Metropolitan Los Angeles Basin, The Bôrd Room founded by Avi Slavin, almost feels like an exclusive hideout. Get your sideburns shaped while enjoying a complimentary glass of whiskey or get other grooming services (shaves, trims, and styling), beard and shaving services, and CBD and Theragun Massages to melt away the doldrums of the day, the cut I got at the WeHo grand opening, was life-changing.
While there’s no shortage of overpriced chop shops on any given high street, there’s something special with The Bôrd Room. Great barbers, an exclusive location, and unbeatable service.
Two Locations (as of publishing) but keep an eye out for the ^ over the O, it’s a cut above the rest.
