UPDATE:
WWE announced on Wednesday before NXT that WrestleMania will now be a two-night event taking place April 4 &5 at 7PM EST streaming live on WWE Network. It has also come to light that the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony will now be part of Summer Slam weekend, the company’s next major PPV. WrestleMania will now also be hosted by former NFL player Rob Gronkowski.

WWE recently held a live edition of Smackdown on Fox from the WWE Performance Center with no live audience. Today, the company announced its flagship PPV, WrestleMania will also follow that lead.

Originally scheduled at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Florida, the event will now be moved to the WWE PC with no live audience. The event will still stream live on WWE Network on April 5. Other events canceled in relation are the fan axxess event and NXT Takeover. There is still no word on whether NXT Takeover will also be moved to the performance center.

Another event in question but could still take place in the original location is the WWE Hall of Fame ceremony with announced inductions of Batista, The Bella Twins, The nWo, and Jushin Thunderliger.

No word on refunding for tickets. We will update this story as more information is released.
