Disney has announced Academy Award-winning filmmaker Taika Waititi is in the development of a new Star Wars film.
No details have been released about the film’s title, plot, characters, or setting within the Star Wars universe, but Disney has stated that Waititi will direct and co-write alongside Krysty Wilson-Cairns (1917).
Also in May 4th news, Disney+ announced a new show from Russian Doll writer Leslye Headland. Disney again has offered no details to the actual premise of the project, but Headland will be the showrunner for the project.
