Shot in New Mexico Frybread Face & Me

The New Mexico Film Office today announced the feature film, Frybread Face & Me, produced by Frybread Movie LLC., is filming this July in Santa Fe, Espanola, and Albuquerque, New Mexico.

When an 11-year-old city boy is sent to his grandmother’s ranch on the Navajo reservation against his will, he is introduced to a new way of life and an unexpected guest teaches him the importance of family, tradition, and what it means to be a Navajo man.

“We are so happy to be shooting in New Mexico again. Nowhere else allows for access to such a variety of locations, local talent, and skilled, experienced film artisans. We could not have made this film anywhere but New Mexico,” said Chad Burris, Producer.

Frybread Face & Me is directed by Billy Luther (Ms. Navajo, Grab!) and produced by Chad Burris (Barking Water, Drunktown’s Finest, Bare, Mosquita y Mari, Santa Fake).

The production will employ approximately 40 New Mexico crew members, 20 New Mexico principal cast members, and 30 New Mexico background and extras. Principal cast includes, Charly Hogan, Martin Sensmeier (Westworld, Wind River, Magnificent Seven), Kahara Hodges and Morningstar Angeline (Yellowstone, Outer Range, Ice Road, and Drunktown’s Finest)
