Dead for a Dollar is written and directed by Walter Hill (The Warriors, 48 Hrs., The Long Riders, “Deadwood,” “Broken Trail”) and produced by Berry Meyerowitz, Neil Dunn, Carolyn McMaster, Kirk D’Amico and Jeremy Wall. Executive Producers are Jeff Sackman, Larry Greenberg, Christoph Waltz, Lawrence Mortorff, and Alex Habrich.
Dead for a Dollar follows a famed bounty hunter who runs into his sworn enemy, a professional gambler and outlaw that he had sent to prison years before, while on a mission to find and return the wife of a successful businessman who is being held hostage in Mexico.
The production will employ approximately 80 New Mexico crew members, 20 New Mexico principal cast members, and 40 New Mexico background and extras.

The principal cast includes Academy Award® winner Christoph Waltz (Django Unchained, Inglourious Basterds), Academy Award® nominated actor Willem Dafoe (At Eternity’s Gate, The Florida Project), and Emmy Award® winner Rachel Brosnahan (The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, I’m Your Woman, The Courier).
