Executive producers Nick Wootton and Jake Coburn bring audiences a pulse-pounding high-stakes two-hander about Elena Federova (Morena Baccarin), a recently captured international arms dealer and brilliant criminal mastermind who orchestrates a number of coordinated bank heists throughout New York City for a mysterious purpose. Her antagonist is Val Turner (Michelle Ryan Bathe), the principled, relentless and socially outcast FBI agent who will stop at nothing to foil her ambitious plan. The gripping heist drama reveals how far some people will go for love, justice and the most valuable commodity in the world: the truth.
NBC’s media day revealed much of the character motivations going into the series with Bathe attributing agent turner’s motivations to tunnel vision determination in unraveling the international conspiracy underlining the series. Baccarin talked about her character not being a traditional “villain” but more of an anti-hero. While you get introduced to her as a thief we will see more behind her motivations and find out just how deep the conspiracy goes.
The Endgame premieres February 21, 2022 on NBC.
