2022 Film and TV Expo – IATSE Local 480 hosted their inaugural New Mexico Film and TV Expo at the training center for the Local 480 union chapter in Albuquerque.
This event gave the public full access to view demonstrations and see the wide variety of skills required for television and movie production. Hosted in collaboration with SAG-AFTRA, Teamsters 492, IATSE Locals 423 (stagecraft), 800 (art directors), and others, the Expo open house will include a demonstration set, basecamp tours, and hands-on activities for the public to experience the expertise and artistry of New Mexico filmmakers.

This free event provided attendees the opportunity to network with NM film schools and local film offices.
At the expo attendees were able to see a live “movie set” manned by volunteer crew members from the film community along with enjoying music, food trucks, and tours.
