Disney+ and Disney Junior are set to release the original animated series, “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures,” on May 4, 2023, in celebration of Star Wars Day. The series, set in The High Republic era, follows Jedi younglings as they learn about the Force, explore the galaxy, and help those in need while acquiring valuable skills to become Jedi. Lucasfilm has unveiled the key art for the series, featuring Jedi younglings Kai Brightstar, Lys Slay, Nubs, Master Yoda, Nash Durango, and RJ-83. Three animated shorts, Meet the Young Jedi, Lys’ Creature Caper, and Kai’s Daring Droid Rescue, have been released as a sneak preview of the animated series, with three additional shorts set to debut on YouTube over the coming weeks.

Produced in collaboration with Wild Canary, “Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures” is executive produced by Lucasfilm’s James Waugh, Jacqui Lopez, and Josh Rimes. Michael Olson serves as showrunner and executive producer, Elliot M. Bour as supervising director and co-producer, Jeannine Hodson as producer, and Lamont Magee as consulting producer. The series stars Jamaal Avery Jr. as Kai Brightstar, Juliet Donenfeld as Lys Solay, Dee Bradley Baker as Nubs, Emma Berman as Nash Durango, Jonathan Lipow as RJ-83, and Piotr Michael as Master Yoda.

All six shorts will be available to stream on Disney+ on April 26, ahead of the series premiere.
