Lucasfilm’s “Star Wars: Ahsoka.”
On August 23, Ahsoka starts streaming only on Disney+.

Disney+ has announced that the upcoming Star Wars series Ahsoka will premiere on August 23, 2023.

Set after the fall of the Galactic Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy. In addition to Rosario Dawson in the title role, Ahsoka stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.

The series is written by Dave Filoni, who executive produces alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Karen Gilchrist is co-executive producer.

The teaser trailer gives us a glimpse of Ahsoka’s new adventures, including her reunion with Sabine Wren and Hera Syndulla. We also get a look at some of the new threats that Ahsoka will face, including Grand Admiral Thrawn.

These three images from the series show Ahsoka in action, as well as some of the new characters that she will meet along the way.

Ahsoka is sure to be a must-watch for Star Wars fans. The series has all the makings of a hit, with a talented cast, a great story, and the backing of Lucasfilm. Be sure to tune in on August 23 to see what Ahsoka is up to next!
