On Sunday, Microsoft’s Summer Game Fest presentation was an absolute banger that once again gives the Xbox faithful hope that their plastic boxes won’t just be fancy ping pong ball levitators. Later this week, I’ll talk about Gears Of War and all the things shown during their press conference but one of the games coming out this year fans are most excited for is Bethesda and Machine Games Indiana Jones & The Great Circle.

The video shows off some of the true to film spirit of the games.

An intercepted message sends Indiana and Gina to Nepal tracking down one of the artifacts deep in the Himalayas. Their treacherous trek through the mountains leads them to a frozen battleship tucked away in the peaks. This is just one of many locations their journey will take them to in their hunt to uncover the secrets of the Great Circle. Capture at the hands of Gantz spells trouble for our heroes and a fight over the stone breaks out. A fight that is quickly interrupted as the ship shakes free from its hold and begins careening down the mountainside. MachineGames are known for their love of high-stakes action and incredible set pieces, and moments like these are a good reminder that wits aren’t the only thing in Indy’s arsenal. Sometimes he’ll have to rely on his fists, whip, gun, and even the occasional grenade toss from a companion.

Indiana Jones & The Great Circle will be released on current Xbox hardware and PC later this year. Plus the game will be free on day one for Game Pass Ultimate subscribers.
