One of the perks of being here in Hollywood is our access to covering red carpet events and getting to the heart of what they are about. TV coverage gives you a sound bite but MMTVN works to get more of the behind the scenes look at them and what it takes to be there from standing for hours (not so glamorous) to the time and editing footage after….We will have in-depth coverage of this years Academy Awards Style Lounge event – from interviews with sponsors to celebrities and with the City of Hope, this year’s recipient of donations collected at this event.

This year we were invited by the folks that run “Secret Room Events” a marketing company that brings together the hottest products from clothing, shoes, electronics, jewelry, automobiles, skincare and accessories to luxury travel resorts, airlines, spa, plastic surgery services – and much more — for this year’s Academy Awards Style Lounge. The Academy Awards Style Lounge is the most exclusive and interactive way to promote products and get them into the hands of celebrities, media and press (like MMTVN).

We did this recently for the Golden Globes “Boom Boom Room” where we saw the hottest products for moms and their babies while interviewing celebrities. You can see the footage here on our Fan Favorites page. Our celebrity mom correspondent Kerri Pomarolli was invited to go – but we sent a film crew to be with her (good thing, cause she got to meet Scott Baio, her teen crush).

We’re also very excited to see that the City of Hope was selected to be this years recipient of the donations that are collected at this years Academy Awards Style Lounge as well as receiving a portion of the proceeds from the Secret Room Events team. City of Hope is a leading research and treatment center for cancer and other life-threatening diseases (founder of MMTVN is also a cancer survivor).  City of Hope will be at the Style Lounge with a film crew capturing video from celebrities and collecting celebrity signed gift bags from the celebrities who donate their gift bags to them.

Find out more about Secret Room Events or City of Hope and watch for our coverage from the event on our Fan Favorites page and on a MMTVN web show.
