Fans were jubilant to have a gander at the Friday night panel hosted by The Paley Center for Media’s PALEYFEST honoring Mad Men at The Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. In attendance, were Matthew Weiner, Vincent Kartheiser, Elisabeth Moss, Jon Hamm, Kiernan Shipka, Christina Hendricks, Jessica Paré and Robert Morse.
It was a bittersweet night as this is the final season of “Mad Men” which launches April 13th on AMC but ala “Breaking Bad” the season will be a long-drawn out one with new episodes in April and May and then the final 7 episodes will air in April 2015.
Sadly, for the cast and for the fans, the Mad Men cast have 7 episodes left to shoot and they weren’t giving up any details stating the series will end how it will end. With Season 6 having a dramatic end and Season 7 teasers up, fans are left wondering what happens next. (See our article here for the clip).
Fans had questions about Jon Hamm’s Don Draper character after season 6 reveal he was raised in a whorehouse – how much lower can he go? With trouble with his kids and marriage falling apart, what does he have left? Work – it will be interesting to see how that helps or hurts him.

Other questions left unanswered… Could Sal return? Will Pete go completely bald? Well, I guess like anything, it’s time has come, but it’s still a classic and there’s still a lot of people who are binge watching Mad Men for the first time.
