Bravo has announced the renewed their hit series Imposters for a second season.
The news of the renewal was announced at the Emmy’s FYC event last week to the surprise of the cast, creatives, and the audience. It was announced that the second season will consist of ten episodes and start production in the fall. No set date has been confirmed for the season premiere.
Imposters is a dark comedy that follows Maddie (Inbar Lavi), a con artist who marries her victims before scamming them out of their money. Unfortunately, her latest target is one who actually stole her heart, completely changing the game. It only gets worse, as her past targets — Ezra (Rob Heaps), Richard (Parker Young) and Jules (Marianne Rendón) — band together to track her down, which leads them to learn the art of the con. The trio are then swept in a thrilling game of cat and mouse that includes the beautiful grifter, her mysterious boss, his deliciously psychotic henchman, and the FBI.

Young had comically answered earlier, when asked what he hopes for the second season, “What I hope for second season is that we have one.” As did many “Imposters” fans and, lucky for us, our wish was granted.
More profound, Young continued that he hopes to learn more about Richard’s past and family; and “it’ll be cool to watch him develop as a con man.“ Lavi also hopes, “that she [Maddie] finds peace within herself.” While Lavi is hoping for peace, Rendón would love, “for a little more danger and action,” for Jules.
But no matter where the writers take these characters, season two is sure to have the same twists and turns we’ve grown to love.

When Richard shows up at Ezra’s door in search of his perfect wife Alice, they realize they’ve been fooled by the same woman and join forces in the hope of finding her to seek revenge.
